Our Web Design Specialist Diploma is part of our distance learning range – which can be accessed online via our distance learning portal.

This means that you have the flexibility to study our Web Design Specialist Diploma:
In centre, with our friendly course advisors available for support and guidance as and when you need it.
At home or from work – with support via email or telephone during working hours.
On a blended mix – in-centre for the modules you need help with, at home or from work for those you are gliding through.

Once you’ve decided to go ahead, all you’ll need to do is contact your nearest Pitman Training centre that offers and supports our distance learning platform, and they will arrange for you to have an induction to show you around the system and talk you through how our online training works. After this, you can learn in your own time and at your own speed, but with the knowledge you have support at hand if required.

Web Site Design

Learn how to build user friendly, interactive sites that visitors can easily navigate. You will learn important concepts about layout, colour, and site planning. Explore how to use Photoshop, Flash, and Expression Web to make web sites come alive. Work with HTML, XHTML, CSS, and Div Tags. You will also be introduced to JavaScript and Java

Dreamweaver

Learn the features and functions of Dreamweaver including importing any FLV file directly into Dreamweaver and quickly integrate a player skin of your choosing. Test your pages in Adobe BrowserLab on multiple browsers and operating systems. Create standards-based Web pages with updated CSS-based starter pages.

Photoshop

This course is ideal for photographers, graphic designers, and Web designers and is considered the world wide industry-standard application that delivers the richest, most robust editing and compositing tools available. As a result, becoming proficient in Photoshop is one of today´s most sought-after skills.

Flash

This course will guide you through all of the features of Flash and provide you with numerous tips and tricks that you can use as you become a professional Flash developer. Flash is the industry standard software for interactive authoring and delivery of immersive experiences that present consistently across personal computers, mobile devices, and screens of virtually any size and resolution.

HTML Fundamentals or Introduction to HTML

You´ll cover topics such as HTML editors and designing a website, creating an HTML file; head, title and body tags, continues with incorporating images and understanding hyperlinks, creating tables and adding borders followed by search engine awareness and publishing your site
